Everything looks good

We passed the Down Syndrome test - nuchal translucency test to be exact - with flying colors. The sonogram below was taken during the testing. This new non-evasive testing measures the tissue on the back of the baby's neck. You can see where there are the letters NT on the picture. That measurement combined with a blood test will give you a percentage of possibilty that the baby will have Downs. My measurements fell well within normal range. In a couple of weeks, I will have more blood work to test for spina bifida.
I also found out the results of my extensive blood work. I don't have HIV, chlamydia, gonnarhea, syphillis, or herpes. (Whew, I was worried there for a second) I have A+ blood type and a high immunity to the german measles. It was funny when the doctor told me that because on instinct I immediately looked around the room. I am not sure what I was looking for - maybe little German men in helmets?

I am still really tired. I mean REALLY tired. It is like I have been running nonstop for three months. I hate to run. I am beat. I am hoping that the "energy swich" that everyone keeps talking about will be flicked on here real soon. Just thinking about something I have to do wears me out.

Stay tuned.....
